Our Journey
4L Truck and Trailer was founded by Joshua Lamberth, whose passion for mechanics began in his youth with a love for hot rods and fast cars. Inspired by the dream of building hot rods for a living, Joshua ventured 700 miles away from home to attend a prestigious tech school. His professor stepped in and encouraged him to do better. This Professor changed his entire life by writing a recommendation letter, which he still has framed at home today Standing tall at 6'5", he was advised to shift his focus from cars to diesel trucks, a decision that set the stage for his future. Joshua’s early career involved rigorous training and notable challenges. After a tenure at International and Montgomery in Birmingham and various other roles that honed his skills, Joshua’s vision for a local shop became a reality. Driven by a desire to provide for his growing family and to serve his community better, he transitioned from working out of his house to establishing 4L Truck and Trailer.

Since moving to our current location in September 2019, we’ve experienced significant growth, especially during the challenging times brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. This growth has not only sustained us but also led to the establishment of an accompanying trucking company.
